Coronavirus - Covid 19 UPDATES:

24th March 2020

As of 5pm today, the boatyard will be CLOSED AND GATE LOCKED until further notice.
All those with boats on pontoons will still have access and be able to park outside the site and access their boats via the public footpath through the Wharf. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE YARDS!
Please make sure all cars/vehicles are removed from site by 5pm.
No keys will be given to anyone, and no one will have access to the site at all after today.
This is to keep you safe, but also to make sure us as a family are kept safe.
This is not only our business premises of which we have a duty of care, but also our home.
Thank you as always for your understanding and see you on the other side.
Katy and Robin

23rd March 2020

We shall be closing all facilities on site from 11am Wednesday morning.
We shall be locking the main vehicle gate from Friday 27th March onwards to allow those with boats stored to be able to access the site with their vehicles and take anything home they made need.
We will still be contactable by telephone, please do leave a message and we will get back to you.
We shall be cancelling ALL campsite bookings for the rest of March and the whole of April for the moment, and your accounts will be kept in credit.
Please do not make any bookings online for April as these will immediately be cancelled our end.
We will keep everyone informed of bookings after April in due course.
Keep safe and thank you as always for your continued support.

20th March 2020

Although we are still fully open, after today we will also have our 2 children at home full time.
With this in mind, we are shortening our office opening hours from Monday 23rd March 2020 to enable us to educate and take care of them as much as we can.
Our new hours will be:
Mon-Fri 10.30am-2.30pm
Sat 10am-1pm (usual hours)
The telephones will stay on during usual hours of 9.30am-4pm Mon-Fri, and 10am-1pm Saturday, but please do leave us a message if there is no answer either within or out of these hours and we can return your call as soon as we can.
Alternatively please email info@uphillwharf.co.uk
Keep safe and thank you as always for your understanding.

19th March 2020

Covid-19 update
Whilst we are still open, we understand there are a lot of people that simply cannot come and stay with us due to their personal circumstances of being unable to leave their homes.
We are obviously very aware of what the country is going through, we are also very aware that we cannot currently see the end of this very long tunnel or where we will be in 2-3 months from now.
Despite us allowing refunds where necessary, we are also a small business that is trying to survive through these very hard times.
So where necessary, and if possible, we would prefer if you need to cancel your booking in the coming weeks that you ask us to keep your account in credit rather than refund.
Obviously each case by case basis is different and there are people where the odd night booked refunded makes a massive difference to their personal circumstance.
This is all without prejudice and we will obviously help all those who need it.
We just want to make sure we are still able to provide you with a beautiful site to stay once we are through the worst.
Keep safe.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.

18th March 2020

We are getting numerous requests from guests with tourers that are wishing to get out and about but also wishing to self isolate.

We are delighted to be able to offer you a no contact welcome on site for those who require it.
It's a pleasure to welcome guests personally on arrival within usual office hours, however we will happily do this over the phone if that is your personal preference.

All bookings and payments are made online, or also over the phone so there is no need to visit the office.

Pitches are allocated on booking, and all information including a site map, parking guidelines and site rules are all attached to your email booking confirmation. You are welcome to go straight to your pitch, and call us to let us know you have arrived on site.

Obviously you can use just your own onboard facilities if you wish, but we are making our own as clean as possible to keep any risk to a minimum.

For any bookings or enquiries please email info@uphillwharf.co.uk, or call 01934 418617.

We are sure you can appreciate it is a very busy time on the phones at the moment with enquiries not only from existing bookings, but for new enquiries. We also run a busy Marine Centre.

There are only two of us, and sometimes the office is only manned by one, so please do leave a message if there is no answer and we will return your call as soon as we can.

Our Facilities

Here at Uphill Wharf Campsite and Marine Centre you will find all the facilities you will need to not only store your craft, but to also have a stress-free holiday.

The well-kept level pitches at our site have wonderful views of our large marine lake and the local area that surrounds this lovely, friendly site.

Our shower and toilet blocks provide toilets, showers and washing up facilities  with non stop hot water, and chemical waste facilities.  As dogs are as important members of the family, we also have a warm dog wash coming soon so your pooch can stay as clean as you!

We can currently accommodate 30 caravans, motorhomes mostly with electric supply, and tents.  We shall be making the site completely year round with the addition of more hard-standing pitches.

Dogs are welcome here with a maximum of 3 per pitch.

Free WiFi around reception too!
