Now under new ownership (October 2019), we have lots of exciting plans for the site as a whole and have already made many improvements to date.
Currently we have 30 camping pitches, onsite toilet/shower facilities and lots of amenities close by.
Set in the midst of a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), we are nestled in an old quarry under Uphill Hill where part of the recent ITV series of Sanditon was filmed. You can walk to the watch tower and 12th century church on the hill overlooking the site.
We are a quiet tranquil site not far from the popular Weston-super-Mare, the Mendip Hills and local countryside, combined with numerous local activities, beautiful coastal views, wonderful walks, local golf course make it the ideal location to get away from it all.
ITV News West Country were filming in Uphill in October. Here's a little video they produced, featuring our campsite and marine lake.
We are situated with direct access from the site literally straight onto the newly completed route 33 cycle path Tidal Trail that runs directly past giving access to the Fort and Brean Sands area.
We are also within easy reach of a grocery store, 2 superb local inns and Italian restaurant along with Uphill Wharf Café just outside the gate of the site.
Getting here.
We are located by the River Axe at Weston-super-Mare, and approximately 6 miles from the M5 motorway. Follow the signs towards WSM, then Uphill Beach, and within the village of Uphill look out for our camping sign on your left.
Our postcode BS23 4XR is unique to the site and will direct you to our entrance.

Public Transport.
We are a stones throw from the local bus route 5 which offers regular services to Weston-super-Mare and the local area.
There are also many local taxi firms, and WSM train station is a 5 minute drive.

Our lake provides a safe and sheltered body of water that is extensively used by sail training groups for small craft instruction and corporation activity use.
